With Ellie Graye’s recent infatuation with all things “pony,” our similarities are sticking out more and more.  We’ve had a blast playing at the barn together, learning to ride, and just enjoying time shared together.  Like me, she’s a little dare devil and seemingly scared of nothing!  I  can’t express how much joy it brings me to share a passion and learn right along side each other!

The father of a childhood friend of mine posted a photo on Facebook today – and I couldnt’ stop giggling. It was me and Elizabeth and another friend of ours beaming as we rode the Kiddie Caper’s Parade through Salinas, CA.  I must have been 5 or 6 years old…

but, lord almighty, it was just like looking at a freckly Ellie Graye!  You be the judge:
